Great job, like many other people i have problems with Cairngorm and modules, i am lost. I have data that is in the singleton (ModelLocator) and i want to share this between all modules, but every time that i open a module, the ModelLocator class returns me a new instance an the data disappear.

I am sorry but i am really lost, thanks for all.

Definitely, a way of using Cairngorm for modular applications.

And because you are way above most of us in professionalism, tackling unit testing together with Cairngorm will be extremely nice.

@Trent - That is a great idea. If I can get some time soon - I will work on that tutorial.

Your Cairngorm tutorials were most excellent. If you could do the same with the Universal Mind Cairngorm Extensions it would be much appreciated. Particularly with modules.

@Lorenzo - This is something that would be a good idea to cover. I will see if I can work it into my schedule. To give you the short answer, the Universal Mind Cairngorm Extensions provide an easy way to implement Cairngorm with modules (and they also provide many other benefits). I will try to work in a tutorial on them soon.

Hi David,

very good job and explanation!!!

is it possible to extends this model to achieve module to module communication?

in particular i would have a structure within a main app that permits to achieve flex modules communication...

thanks in advance,
Regards Lorenzo

please don't go into coldfusion. nobody who takes themselves seriously as a web developer even bothers with coldfusion. going into how flex integrates with j2ee, asp.net, django or ruby on rails. nobody uses coldfusion. please don't do coldfusion.
