Thank you for this article. I’d also like to state that it can be hard if you find yourself in school and merely starting out to establish a long credit standing. There are many individuals who are only trying to endure and have a protracted or good credit history can occasionally be a difficult thing to have.

Hi, thanks for the tips. I have been using Vista for almost two years and was never very impressed with the speed. I already turned off a few of the features, but like you said, that kind of defies the point of Vista. I am going to try out all your tips (and the USB) and if that doesn’t work it might be time to finally say goodbye to Vista.

I actually have the same problem Chris, I have looked around all the boards and havent been able to find an answer yet. Just wondering if you did?

Thanks for the information, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. I just bought a new Dell desktop a couple of weeks ago with Vista and I have been completely bummed with how s – l – o – w it has been running. It’s been a complete disappointment to say the least. I’m going to give your suggestions a shot and see if that makes a difference.
